I was excited to get an ACR of this book, but my excitement slowly simmered out after struggling to finish it in a timely manner. It just couldn't keep my attention, although I don't think it was terrible - the author's writing is smooth and the emotions you feel from the characters come to life when you read them; I don't know what it was, I just didn't fly through this like other books. I guess I had this idea in my head of what the plot would be about, and when it finally came to an end, I was left wanting more.
