Definitely cliché at times, but still a great little book of poems. I do love how many of the poems focused on self-empowerment, and being able to grow through the pain heartbreak causes. I do think that if you have read a large amount of modern poetry, this won't be too original or groundbreaking. However, if you're new to the genre, this is a great start!
