Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
4.5
Pride and Prejudice is widely known as Austen's masterpiece, and while I do agree with that statement due to it's endurance of staying relevant throughout time, I do prefer Austen's writing in her later works.
Pride and prejudice has it all, incredible pace, comedy, depth, characters that feel real in their time.
Jane Austen's masterpiece is at least a masterclass to every writer who wishes to dabble in romance. She shows that although a romantic relationship can permeate all aspects of a novel, it can't be the only thing the author holds on to.
