Umm this book probably traumatised me. It should definitely have a trigger warning but I probably should have known considering it’s Colleen Hoover. Without spoiling: I don’t know how shit hit the fan so quick. One minute it was a cute high school romance the next I was crying in my room listening to ‘Seven by Taylor Swift’. And now everything I listen to ‘ Dear Inner Child by Peach PRC’I cry thinking about this book.
Ughh I was right near the end just when I thought things couldn’t get even more devastating; they did. And I actively contemplated DNFing because it was just so sad but I finished it. Then read Losing Hope and then Finding Cinderella (just because I owned them all already and have to finish what I started) and now I’m a little scared to pick up the rest of the Colleen Hoover books I own. Almost put me into a slump to be honest.
Anyways, definitely search up the trigger warnings, stay safe out
