This book was so much better than I expected it to be. I knew it would be good because the previous books in the series have been but there were quite a few things that happened in this book that I didn't expect.
Obviously, I can't tell what those things are because of spoilers but I will say that after the way that Pure ended, I was a bit hesitent regarding some things. I just didn't want to deal with the love triangle that was very obvious by what happened in Pure. I never like love triangles. But this was so different. It wasn't about which guy she liked and who she'd chose at all. This was about Alex trying to find out who she was and what she wanted. It was her trying to seperate what she wanted and believed to what the bond between her and Seth was making her want.
The ending was also quite shocking. I didn't expect it to be like that. This book is by far my favourite of the series and I'm already a quarter of the way through Apollyon.
