THIS BOOK NEEDS A CONTENT WARNING FOR CHILD DEATH.
And no, I’m not marking the spoiler warning because that is something that should be available to the reader before reading.
I listened to the audiobook and got ZERO warnings.
After finishing the book I opened the ebook and at the end of the authors note there is this and that it is:
“TW: This story contains sensitive subjects such as: abortion, death, and abuse.”
There is a big difference between death mentioned in passing off page and on page death of a child/main character.
The book cover looks like a romance book.
The blurb sounds like a romance book.
I really think there should be content warnings for parent neglect resulting in child death, domestic abuse, cheating, pressure for abortion, and trafficking.
I’m sure there is more.
I have seen some other people comment on other reviews that the trigger warnings should be hid under the spoiler tags but for those that need to see it, I’m not going to. So many of us really struggle with this and the fact that it just slaps you sideways with no warning isn’t OK.
