I know a lot of fans of “The Shining'' doesn't really enjoy this book. But I really enjoyed it! I’m a big fan of Mike Flanagan’s version of “Doctor Sleep” so I wanted to read the book. And oh boy did the boy not disappoint! I loved it! I love how we can see how Danny turned out after “The Shining”. The storytelling was great! The plot was great and the characters were amazingly built! I loved Abra and I hated the Knot! I would say that I loved the end of the movie more than the book, but the ending of the book is also amazing!
I would recommend this book to fans of both “The shining” movie and the book.
