This is the most horrifying book I've ever read. And yet... It was so well crafted that I could not stop reading.
The book is every bit as grotesque as you'd expect, given the premise. The author intentionally forces us to view these horrors rather than glossing over them.
At every turn in this book, the realities of the world get worse and worse until the ending that feels simultaneously shocking and inevitable.
