- The easiest way for me to give a book a low rating is multiple povs, cheating trope, an a obsessive amount of pages. Guess what... this book had all three and check the rating. This book had crack in it im sure of it. I devoured this book in like 2 days and was hooked the whole time!
- It was about Demon and Dream they were the main characters. However the side characters Smoke and Dayana love story was just as good! I loved them downnn both couples. Demon is literally a psychopath and honestly I was living for him and his short temper. He was really private and to himself but the nigga was actually a clown at heart. He would say something outta pocket and I would be dying laughing! Then its Dream... you know that people pleaser that doesn't know when to put themselves first yeah that was Dream. But she didn't play about her siblings and I did love that. I just wish she would be realistic about the lifestyle she lived lol but anyway by the end of the book we was cool again 🤞🏾😭
- People always ask me what kind of books I like and THIS!! This is what I love to read! Captivating books with some crazy gangster characters🤣🤣! Ms.Elle Kayson is an AUTHOR and please dont play with her pen! Now yall this book was 750 pages and I was soooooo stressed when I started but it had short chapters and by the end I wanted it to be longer lol. It was that good! This is exactly how I wanted to start my year off with a great 5 star read! Mhm this book was crazy my stomach literally had butterflies bc I was really tryna figure out what Demon crazy ass was gonna do next! He did not play about Dream like at all wasn't shit funny when it came to her.
- Definitely recommend! Really enjoyed this one! Oh and lots of triggers in here child abuse, rape, and a whole lot more so be mindful before reading!
