Don't judge a book by its cover. This was pretty great! It's told in a journalistic format, but the narrator has a great sense of humor and sense of self throughout their journey. Imagine breaking your leg and being in a full leg cast the moment the zombie apocalypse happens. Tough stuff! The story moves at a quick pace with a subtle, yet major, character development. Definitely sticking with this series. If you liked the narrated version of World War Z, you'll like this as well.
