Prisoner of Night
by J.R. Ward
Heartbreaking, exceptional and not to be missed
Ward does it again with another five star read in her Black Dagger Brotherhood series with another group of vampires scared and bruised by the war with the Lessers and even some of their own that have taken immense pleasure in torturing and subjugating their own. One sister out to save her last living blooded relative. Another is a broken ,tortured male out to destroy his captor as well as the father who gave him over. Their stories converge and they must fight together whilst navigating the lust and hunger they have for each other if they have any hope of coming out of it alive. They might not be characters you know, but that does not make their tale any less important. I have a feeling they all have a purpose, though we will have to wait and see!
