The Girl With No Past by Kathryn Croft

2.0

I was so drawn into the story for pretty much the first three fourths until it was revealed exactly what caused all the events to be set into motion. The act wasn’t even described in incredible detail, but it still left me with a knot in my stomach that made me put the book down immediately. I ended up going to the internet to find out exactly how it ended to ensure it wouldn’t be repeatedly mentioned, then I pushed through the part but it left me feeling incredibly unsatisfied, not in the wanting more, but just in that the story felt unfinished, no one’s story line was truly resolved, plus the last minute admissions seemed forced and underdeveloped.
