I dive in without any expectations but found myself turning pages without being able to stop, it was addictive and we can only recognize the mesmerizing craft that R.F Kuang wrote.
June is a complex character that make you us roll our eyes, wish to punch her for how unhinged and psycho she is, especially at the end.
I actually like the "open ending", I think it fit the vibe and personal traits of June.
This also give a lot of insight of the publishing companies and how they function, how racist it can become.

People putting bad graded reviews because they didn't like being June's mind is not really understandable, I sure understand why some people would not enjoy being in her head for 300 pages but then you should either not continue or not rate it at all. I think being in her head and see how gradually she is racist and unhinged about it is also the plot in itself.
