Not only does Sarah Bessey write a strong argument for women in the ministry but she also gives a true definition of feminism-that men and women should be treated equally. " Feminism only means we champion the dignity, rights, responsibilities, and glories of women as equal in importance-not greater than, but certainly not less than-to those of men, and we refuse discrimination against women." She uses historical, theological, and common sense to explain why we shouldn't fear the word. Bessey explains women do not have to be less feminine and can still enjoy being house wives, taking care of kids, and cooking supper for their husbands while still claiming to be feminist. This book is a great start to a conversation it is time the Church has.
