Eerie by C. M. McCoy
4.0

Do you like supernatural suspense stories? Ones that will leave you on the edge of your seat? Eerie by C.M. McCoy is the book for you!

Hailey is an introvert who likes to keep to herself and is counting down the days until she graduates and can escape with her sister to college far away. But things have a way of changing. Her sister is killed by something not human and she is quickly finding that nothing is as it seems. After graduating she goes to university in Alaska and is surrounded by the supernatural, and she isn’t exactly safe there either. On top of that, she feels an attraction and pull for two different men: an envoy named Asher, and a sort of human named Fin. Envoys are responsible for her sister Holly’s death.

Hailey is different from all humans before her or since, and while Asher wants to kill her, he also wants to protect her. Fin wants to protect her from anyone and anything, and that includes Asher.

I kept flipping the pages needing to know what happened next and when I got to the end, I wanted to throw my kindle. A cliffhanger. And there are a lot of unanswered questions and a few surprises. The book was full of action and adventure, not much in the way of physical romance except for kisses (but hey, it is not always needed, and this story is fine without it), and lots of mystery. I give the story 4.5 stars and say you have to one click today!
