Scandal of the Year: Abandoned at the Altar by Laura Lee Guhrke

4.0

I love these characters, they make me laugh and although Julie is someone whose personality I would normally dislike, Laura Lee Guhrke manages to write her in a way that makes her appealing.

The only downside to the novel would be the sheer abruptness of the 'Conflict' at the end, to think that Julie would flip flop on such a huge issue in her life in the space of 30 minutes seemed ridiculously optimistic. I was this close to downgrading to a three, but the other 95% of the novel swayed me upwards.
