To be honest, I started this book because of the Book Club episode in Abbott Elementary. The only thing I could say is just how scary Butler got her estimations on how the United States are at. The fact that this was written in the 90’s but the time period is the 2020’s and beyond. Basically this story is a very real and close possibility of how the USA would become if the economic, political, environmental, etc problems are not resolved. I think this is something the United States citizens should read in these times.Once I picked up the book, I couldn’t put it down.
