Book Three in the Raven series finds Raven’s crew bruised and battered after the battle at the Island of the Free Women. With Ximena hurt, Raven goes in search of a healer that can help. As she leaves she enlists others to sit by Ximena’s bedside and tell her stories.
I really enjoyed the stories told by the other characters in the series. It gives insight into who they are and how they landed on an all-girl pirate ship. I liked this book better than the last due to more character development and a little more to the story than just a battle.f
