Ich war echt nervös, weil Mistborn Era 1 doch schon eine Weile her ist und ich fest überzeugt war, dass ich alles über die Welt und die Fähigkeiten vergessen hatte. Aber Brandon Sanderson hat es wirklich super einfach gemacht wieder in die Welt reinzufinden und ich hab schnell wieder kapiert wie die Metalle funktionieren.
Und die Charaktere. Wax und Wayne. Die beiden benehmen sich wie ein uraltes Ehepaar, ohne dabei nervig zu sein. Ich liebe sie beide einfach total. Aber Marasi hat absolut mein Herz gestohlen, ich mag sie und ihre Art total gerne, und auch wie gut sie sich in das Wax/Wayne Duo eingefügt hat.
Die Story war wirklich interessant und auch spannend, das Buch hat einige Antworten geliefert aber wirklich noch viel offen gelassen, was wir dann in den Folgebänden erfahren können. Ich bin echt super gespannt und es ist einfach toll wieder zurück in der Welt zu sein.

I was actually nervous going into this cause it's been a hot minute since I read Mistborn Era 1 and I was convinced that I had forgotten all about the world and the abilities. But Brandon Sanderson made it really easy to get back into the world and it took me no time at all to remember how the metals worked.
And the characters. Wax and Wayne. They act like an ancient married couple without it being annoying. I love them both so much. But Marasi stole my heart, I just love her and her personality, and the way she really fit into the Wax/Wayne duo.
The story was really interesting and exciting, while the book gave a few answers, there are still a lot of questions to be answered in the sequels. I'm really excited to continue, and it's just so good to be back in the world.
