femti11 's review for:
Provenance
by Ann Leckie
I admit I was expecting something more similar to Leckie's Radch trilogy, and instead this was a much smaller setting (an invasion, not withstanding), closer to Iain Banks in tone, with a dash of Austen-esque humour thrown in for good measure. Still political, and well worth the read, the blurb was just a little bit misleading.
