Oh, Beck Weston, you have a filthy mouth, and I loved every minute of it. I knew after listening to the first book in this series that I was hooked. Marni delivered on this one, too. Beck is a hockey captain from a billionaire family. He is a bad boy who knows what he wants and how to get it. Jolie never stood a chance.
I love how this spans across years, and their attraction to each other remains. They have so much chemistry. It burns through every time they are together. They can’t deny it. The angst was palpable throughout the book, and I devoured it. The spice was fan-freaking-tastic. Absolutely delicious. There is even a scene on the ice, like dammnnn.
The audio was incredible. Sean Master and Savannah Peachwood nailed the narration. They both did a great job of evoking the emotions from this story. I highly recommend this book. I hope you will enjoy it as well.
