I hate that I ever trusted him, that I loved him, and most of all, I hate that a part of me still does. I hate the 'what ifs' and the 'could have beens', and above all, I hate myself for ever believing in a happy ending.

Broken Hearts is the second installment in the Silverbrook University series by RG Angel, an author who has quickly become one of my "immediate read" and am honored to be on her Beta/ARC team.

If you want a break from reading Alphaholes who are arrogant, cruel, bullies, fuck up and do not apologize but want a marshmallow-obsessive book boyfriend who will stop at nothing to get his girl then look no further.

⚜ rating: 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
⚜ standalone: yes, but it is best to read it in order of the series to understand the situation
⚜ Ending: HEA, and setting the mood for the next character book

meet Cole Westbroke, a fuckup who doesn't know at first that he is a fuckup and when he does tries to fix his fuckery, in a most swoon-worthy way.

meet his obsession, Evangeline Sinclair. an artist with a soul that goes through the suffering all artists go through trying her best to pick up the pieces and rise like a phoenix.

What I most loved about this book is how deep we go into Eva's mind and soul with Angel's words. We feel her turmoils, frustrations, rage, and perseverance. And believe me, don't be fooled by her innocent looks and petite frame, that girl has a lot of rage.

As with Cole, nothing brings me satisfaction than an arrogant man realizing how messed up he did and watching him being humbled.

Broken Hearts, coming March 13th
