Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

It’s a profoundly well crafted amusing story. I first read and enjoyed “A Man Called Ove,” so I wanted to read another book by this author. Once again he wrote a memorable book that I’ll continue to think about. Parts of this book had me laughing out loud out of amusement and absurdity while some parts were heart wrenching and devastating.
The book switches to second person to convey powerful messages. It also breaks the fourth wall and addresses the reader a few time.
I listened to this as an audiobook, somewhat eager to finish, and I wish I would’ve slowed down to soak the book in. I think since it was written very a-chronologically and there’s a lot of characters, all richly developed, you need to pay attention the whole time. I was cross stitching or trying to do work while listening it. Maybe I’ll reread this book later.
