Now I definitely see what all the Devney Perry hype is all about!!! The Birthday List is a heartfelt romance that explores grief, identity, and a second chance at love. I have so much appreciation for the way that Devney Perry creates a conflict of interest regarding two simultaneous love stories, yet still allows you to root for both of them. Cole is the biggest simp and I loved him for that—and almost wish we could’ve explored more of his growth as a character. I loved the book however the small snippets of Finn and Molly make me certain that their book is going to absolutely destroy me.
