Over-Scheduled Andrew by Ashley Spires

5.0

The main character, Andrew, loves performing, so he joins the drama club. His teacher suggests he practice public speaking by joining the debate team. As he continues in his acting career, he realizes he needs to take dance lessons and karate to help improve his choreography, and the story begins spiraling to where Andrew becomes overscheduled with activities and has no time for his friends. He realizes this and takes the necessary steps to "declutter" his life. It's a fun story that can definitely be used for all grade levels, including high school, and makes the reader think about what is important to them.
