This book is a great commentary on the flaws of the child welfare system, the societal pressures that mothers face, and double standards between mothers and fathers. It left me feeling frustrated, angry, and sad, which was definitely the point of the book. I deducted half a star just because I felt like it took me a little bit to get into the book, but once I was in it I loved it
