Lyla!! How dare you have me crying throughout this book while on a plane. Right from the first page I knew this book would be a favorite of the year. I connected with both Gus and Teddy (in different way) so much that it hurt. This book was everything I had hoped for and more. I have been dying for Gus and Teddy’s story since the beginning of Done and Dusted. Their chemistry was electric in spite of but also because of their snappy banter. Reading their relationship evolve and develop into this deep love felt like two puzzles pieces clicking into place. They just saw each other in ways that the rest of the world didn’t. I loved that they were that safe space for each other, that they felt they could let someone else take care of them, help them. Aside from their love story, this book is once again a love letter to families (and fabulous dads)- found and biological, how they blend into something beautiful. This book is perfection, everyone needs to pick up a copy.
