Beyond the Point by Claire Gibson

5.0

The military has always seemed an intriguing, mysterious world to me. Gibson’s novel offers a peek in, showing that while it is a different world indeed, these women are really not so different after all. I loved all three storylines, laughing and crying with the characters and feeling their deep bond. But what I loved the most was how Gibson handled messy, raw, real faith when tragedy strikes. Greatly enjoyed this novel that was different from anything else I’ve read - and was absolutely worth the read. Highly recommend!
Side note: I would never guess after reading that this was a debut novel. Gibson’s writing is fantastic!
