S.T.A.G.S. by M.A. Bennett
4.0

The more i think about this book, the more i like it. It delivered on the creepy setting, the cult trope, and a good "what happened" plot.

SPOILERS AHEAD!! also trigger warnings for the book & review: suicide

Things I Liked:
- I really loved the foreshadowing that was in the book. I thought it was all planned very carefully and it was SO subtle you wouldn't know it was foreshadowing until later in the book.
- I really liked the characters. I'll say I was swooning for Henry too even though I knew he would be the "bad guy."

Things I Didn't Like:
- throughout the entire book the MC refers to Henry's death as a murder, but it wasn't a murder. It was suicide; henry jumped off that cliff knowing he was going to die. no one pushed him. but Greer continually referred to it as a murder. I understand how she can feel guilty that she wasn't able to save him but she did not kill him.
- i felt like the beginning and ending were so much longer than they needed to be.
