I got catfished by this book. If you’re looking for an interesting read on weird/supernatural cursed places, then there’s maybe 2-3 out of the total 40 places in this book. The majority of the remaining “cursed” places are named so because of geopolitical issues, devastating weather/natural patterns, or areas of historical strife.

Also, I recognize this book was published in 2013, but can’t help pointing out how badly it’s aged considering one of the cursed places listed is Gaza. I think to list several regions in this book that people live, and are actively struggling to survive in, as a “cursed” place is rather insensitive and captilizating on their misfortune, regardless of when it was written.
