In general, dystopian is a favorite genre of mine. This book was describe as "for fans of Station Eleven," which is one of my favorite books. With that said, I found this book to be utterly pointless. I never connected with the story. I think the point is (to quote Jurassic Park) "life will find a way", but it never really gets there. This would have been a DNF for me, if I weren't reading it for my podcast. 1/5 stars
