I received a copy of this book from GRR and this is my honest review.

Going to be honest here, I knew going that there was kink involved in this book and as I started reading I was a little concerned it might be a bit much - I like a little bit of kink but nothing too heavy. I needn't have worried, this book focuses more on the building of the relationship between Rhys and West and the kink is by the by. Yes, it's one of the major factors in getting West and Rhys together but not the only focus and it's not too detailed - kink light if you will.

What I liked - West. I liked him very much, rebuilding a new life after such a bad trauma is not easy and while he's had it tough, this must be like the light at the end of a very dark tunnel for him. I also liked Rhys, and his dedication to his work to the point of neglecting himself. I liked the instant connection between the two as well, and the development of the relationship.

Overall this was different to what I expected going in - in a good way - it's more a story of two people finding each other and common ground and building a relationship on that foundation. And learning to trust again and find the light.
