The storyline had merit.
There were a lot of perspective changes and each character was focused on for such a small sliver of time, keeping track of this was a work out especially in the beginning. It went from reading like a cheesy middle grade novel to all of a sudden a massive trauma dump with no bracing. This book definitely wasn’t made for me, and I can’t say I’d recommend it.
