As kids Poppy and Walker were best friends, they did everything together. They both lived on the poor side of town but they made the best of a bad situation. Poppy’s dad sold drugs and Walkers parents were junkies. When Walkers parents OD’d Poppy life changed. Walker and his sister went to live with his rich uncle and Poppy and her brothers were left behind to struggle. Fast forward a could have years and Walker is now attending Brooks University in his old town, and he knows Poppy’s somewhere around. Both Poppy and Walker got the short end of the stick and had to deal with unthinkable things. They find themselves slowly working to be friends again, maybe more. And Walker makes a deal with the devil to keep her safe and it’s killing him. I loved that Cade Huff my very favorite Lost Boy was in here and I got to see another side of him. This book was an emotional roller coaster, I was sad, worried, hopefully, and happy. I felt all the feelings and now what this series is over I don’t know what to do with myself. But I’m glad to say that we get a new book (hopefully a series) about Logan Sterns being a hot single dad. Yummy
