This was such a powerful book about how someone’s life can be changed in a blink of an eye how star witnessed not only one shooting but two that hit close to home for her I loved how this book spoke about anxiety trauma strength and resilience how one’s voice is stronger than staying silent the way star found out she didn’t have to keep a part of her a secret because who she is was a strong beautiful young black girl who navigates life different than her school friends who don’t have the same fears mindset and livelihood and that she has the right to create boundaries and remove those who stand against her
