My second book by this author, recommended to me by Monika, and I am so glad I gave her another try.

This was an exciting and emotional story, just how I like them.

I enjoyed the Enhanced theme, kinda like Xmen without all the physical looks. Talon was my perfect big guy refusing to follow his heart until almost too late. Finn was so sweet. I love a guy that comes from a harsh/unhappy background.

If I had any complaints it was right at the end

Adams way of bringing Finn back to life didn't work for me. I mean he just did what the paramedics did, but maybe a stronger charge. Finn I felt should have been brought back like people that fall through ice, where the body is slowed down rather than stopped which is how I thought Talon worked his mojo. I just felt with the timing of the rescue Finn might not of been fully dead so to speak.

Sorry just my feelings where I think there's just a little too much going on just for excitement/dramas sake.

But overall a great idea and I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of the team, Eli especially.
