I can only rate this if I turn my brain off. Not that I had high expectations for this book, but it was so disappointing.

Violet was extra annoying, the relationships made no sense (having the SAME FIGHT for NO REASON?? also, all of the platonic relationships felt so flat. like suddenly they know each other soooo well and blindly listen to each other with no skepticism), and the MAGIC??? are we not going to talk about how Brennan is somehow powerful enough to just mend the ward stone with no practice or prior research??

The only good thing to come out of it was the ending (bc I'm curious to see where this goes) but if I actually pick up any of the following books it'll purely be out of INTENSE FOMO.
