benyoda95 's review for:
Man Enough: Undefining My Masculinity
by Justin Baldoni
emotional
funny
informative
reflective
sad
medium-paced
This book was good and I agreed with the sentiment conveyed, but I'm not sure who this book is for. I've also worked on a lot of the things he discussed in this book and agree it was valuable, but I am not sure who this book is for. I don't see most of the people who I want to help get to this journey being willing to read this, and I don't know how much oeople who are already on the journey would gain.
I know that this isn't necessarily true and that there are a lot of men looking who would gain a lot from this book.
If you aren't sure, I do think it's worth reading and I genuinely appreciate his willingness to be vulnerable. I think my review may be more related to my discouragement than this book itself. I think there a lot of men out their who need to know that this level of vulnerability is possible with other men.
