Radical Love: Learning to Accept Yourself and Others by Zachary Levi

5.0

Zachary Levi will have readers crying and self-reflecting with his journey with mental illness and generational trauma. It's not often that a memoir results in introspection and realization of one's own generational trauma and subsequent triggers/reactions. We hear all the time that celebrities' lives aren't all sunshine and roses, and Levi proves this with his recanting of the emotional and psychological abuse at the hands of his mother as well as his struggles with self-worth, anxiety, and depression in an industry designed around popularity contests and constant judgement. I was surprisingly very moved and educated by Levi's Radical Love and I recommend it to anyone who is struggling with their own sense of self.
