The Philosophy Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained by D.K. Publishing

challenging informative slow-paced

Zoo weeeeee mamaaaaaa this book is THICK and PACKED with information. There's so much to learn, I almost hate it. It's a nice introduction to philosophy and philosophers, though I would not recommend reading it front to back like an actual book. If I were to wipe my brain and read this book again, I think I'd do a little more research on the topics within philosophy (epistemology, philosophy of science, metaphysics, ethics, etc.) and work my way through the book by topic. Or I'd just go through it by going over the sections/philosophers that excite me the most LMAO

However, as someone new to philosophy, I don't regret reading the book cover to cover. I did retain less information than I hoped (there's just too much to read and it's kind of overwhelming), but I did learn a lot of new things about philosophy and myself!
