The Garden of Small Beginnings by Abbi Waxman

5.0

Lili is an illustrator, raising her two young daughters alone after the her husband was killed in a car accident three years earlier. When she is assigned a gardening book to illustrate, her boss signs her up for a gardening class. The members of the class bond over their gardening, and Lili meets someone that begins to make her question her firm belief that she isn’t yet ready to date. This is one of those books that doesn’t work all that well if you think about it too hard, but if you just let it roll over you, it’s great. Also, it is surprisingly hilarious. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
