There was lots of interesting information in this book about P. L. Travers and her life. But I also got the feeling that the author had extensively researched everyone Travers ever knew, and wanted to include every bit of that research in the book, too. I found myself skipping over passages, then pages, that told the life stories of people Travers knew that I had no interest in.
