The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi

It feels weird giving a book about an on going genocide a star rating so I’m skipping that. But overall this was so educational, sad, upsetting, and eye opening. I listened to the audiobook, and can recommend!

Before last October I had the privilege of never really having to think much about Palestine and Israel and what has been going on there for over a century. Which also means that I had no clue what it was all about and where it started. I am from the EU, so the information I’ve gotten my whole life is more Israel centered. This book is a great overview of the history of Palestine and all the events that lead us to where we are today.

It is scary how powerful countries can erase and replace history. We have seen it before and we are seeing it happen again right in front of our eyes.
