Unmentionable: The Victorian Lady's Guide to Sex, Marriage, and Manners
by Therese Oneill
Awesome look at 19th century life and customs. Ladies who think women's liberation and feminism are "unnecessary" really need to read this book to get a look at their alternate lifestyle options. Also interesting to note that the doctors, writers and "experts" on female health and anatomy of the time (all men) were all largely in favor of spewing alternative facts or whatever they would like to believe are the facts with no notion of supporting research or science of any kind to back their claims....wait...have we really come very far? Yes, yes, indeed we have...I think.
