I LOVED this book. When I first got it recommended to me and read the blurb I wasn’t that keen on the sound of it but I am so so glad I read it.
The writing was amazing and I felt that the book was really well paced throughout. Time was taken where needed and it didn’t feel rushed or longed out at any point. The storyline was unique and it gripped me from the start where I could not put it down and needed to find out what happens not only to Iris but the whole Belotti family as well as Bobby & Robin.
I fell in love which each character and absolutely loved seeing Iris develop as a character and the Belotti family dynamic. It was so heart warming to read and the ending had me feeling so warm inside, it was just perfect! There were ups and downs mainly for Iris & Gio which made the ending that much better and I felt that while it added a sad element to the storyline it didn’t ruin the overall happy and enjoyable vibes. Additionally, the flips between Iris’s timeline and Viv’s really added to plot and gets you hooked immediately!
A winter in New york is the absolute perfect realistic, fun, heart warming Christmas read that gave all the right christmas vibes and feels you would expect and need from a book at this time of year! Highly recommend
