Book Feels
In this story, I came across questions about ‘women’ like, “Why?” and “What's the deal?” Here, in this story, there were so many women going through stuff that's beyond their control, making them wonder, “Where is my own life?” Jongeun was like, “Don't live as someone's wife, someone's daughter-in-law, or someone's mother. Instead, live for yourself.” At the end of the story, it made me think of a mother telling her kid, “So, you don't end up like me,” and Soobin was all like, “Why is it so bad to live like a mom?” I bawled my eyes out for a good 30 minutes. Remembering similar stories to that conversation just brought back all these heart-wrenching memories. We're gonna get some real valuable lessons from this book. It's all about life and how to navigate through it. Personally, I resonated more with the stories from a mother's perspective, even though there were plenty of others.
