Predictable, formulaic, and stereotypical. And there's nothing really wrong with that.
You can be pretty much assured of a good read, interesting plot twists, and strong leading characters in a thriller when you choose any of these authors' books.
"The Hit" does offer an interesting female lead, which made it fun beach/Vacation reading for me.
