Circe by Madeline Miller

4.5/5

I have always been apprehensive yet intrigued to delve into Greek mythology. Circe was a great introduction into that. It is a beautiful literary fantasy with a touch of mythological Greek soap opera. I kind of understand the hype and I'm impressed with Miller's intricately woven tale with a captivating lyrical prose.

Circe became a powerful witch but she was relatable in her flaws, naiveté and sorrows. She had me rooting for her until the end.
