Obsessively Yours
by Jamie Applegate Hunter
Let me start by saying a massive thank you to [a:Jamie Applegate Hunter|21588967|Jamie Applegate Hunter|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1678148946p2/21588967.jpg] for the chance to review this eARC—because wow, ma’am, you did not have to go this hard, but I’m so glad you did.
Let’s be real—there’s obsessed, and then there’s Roman Covington level obsessed. This man redefines "morally gray" in the most deliciously unhinged way possible, and I for one was eating it up. If intense, stalker-ish love isn’t your thing... well, maybe you should just skip this one. But if you do love a man who would burn the world down and then rebuild it brick by brick for his girl? Welcome to your new obsession.
This wasn’t your average “rejected mates” sob fest either—oh no. It was a spicy little plot twist buffet, and I devoured every bite. Roman and Violet were so cosmically chaotic together that I’m convinced fate just sat back and said, “Y’all need to suffer a little first for the drama.”
Also, can we talk about the side characters? Chef’s kiss. Slayton, Griff, Ares? Yes. I want their stories. I want their drama. I want their deeply repressed feelings and inevitable spicy slow burns. And while we’re at it—Vivian redemption arc WHEN? Give me a messy, angsty novella where she claws her way back into everyone’s good graces. Just my opinion.
This book had me in a chokehold. I blinked and I was on the last page. Do I regret nothing? Absolutely. And that surprise cameo from Rennick and Amelia (and Finn the sweater baby) from [b:Viciously Yours|205404157|Viciously Yours (Fae Kings of Eden, #1)|Jamie Applegate Hunter|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1705307599l/205404157._SY75_.jpg|207315466]? HILARIOUS. I couldn’t stop giggling.
Final verdict: Obsessively Yours is like if fate and chaos had a baby—and I loved every second of it.
