This is a set of stories that take place before Dorothy Must Die. I liked getting the little bits of information about some of the characters.
In No Place Like Oz we see how Dorothy comes back to Oz. She's pretty awful in Dorothy Must Die, but she's a brat in this story. So it's really no wonder she's ruled Oz the way she has.
In The Witch Must Burn we get to see Glinda. She's not all sunshine and rainbows.
I didn't really care much for The Wizard Returns. It was almost a pointless novella. It was flat and just kind of there. We don't know any more about him than we did before.
